Angola: Cinema Institute Holds Anthropological Studies Workshop

Luanda — The second seminar on "The relevance of anthropological studies in Angola" will be held on 06 - 07 March in south-western Namibe province, announced the Angolan Institute of Cinema, Audiovisual and Multimedia (IACAM).

According to IACAM's communiqué, delivered to Angop, the meeting aims to bring together researchers in the social sciences area, particularly of anthropology, as well as to present and discuss matters related to the anthropological studies in Angola, its current role and future challenges.

IACAM source recalled that the event serves to bring to the light the relevant aspects of the Angolan reality which can only be analysed and explained through the anthropological studies.
