Namibe — Six cases of cholera desease were reported in the last 48 hours in the municipal hospital of Tombwa, southern Namibe province, inward dr. Tomás Dias told Angop today.
According to the doctor, the distircts of Rocha Magalhães and Pinda are the most hit by the desease due to shortages of potable water supply.
He added that the Namibe province health authority started monday a training action of emergency teams teams to be sent to different places in the province to difuse an awareness campaign to prevent the desease, adding that following the cholera outbreak the province is now under epidemiological surveillance.
