Eritrea: Sudanese Tourists Express Admiration to Development Achievements And Prevailing Peace in Eritrea

Asmara — Sudanese tourists expressed admiration to development achievements and prevailing peace in Eritrea.

The tourists who arrived in the country through the Kasela-Tesennei road stated that the various infrastructure facilities put in place and the salubrious weather, coupled with historical buildings are some of the tourist attractions in the country. They also lauded the hospitality of the Eritrean people to visitors.

Mr. Aldulwase'e Al-haj from Gedarif, one of the Sudanese tourists, explained that Tesennei is being transformed into an attractive town with modern building complexes, thus attesting to the accelerated pace of development taking place in Eritrea. Similarly, Mr. Abdin Babkr Ahmed said that he decided to spend his honeymoon in this country in line with the close cultural ties between the people of Sudan and Eritrea.

Also another tourist, Mr. Anes Seid Ahmed who came from Khartoum together with his bride said that he was encouraged to come here following the impressive report presented by fellow Sudanese nationals about Eritrea on their return home after visiting Eritrea. He further commended the tourism information center in Tesennei and other government institutions for facilitating their visit.
