Angola: Minister Stresses Woman Role in the Economic System

Huambo — Angolan family and woman promotion minister, Genoveva Lino, today stressed the woman role in the preservation of the economic systems of families.

Addressing in Huambo, central highland, the 4th national communitary meeting, the minister considered positive the woman role in society, mainly in family education, stressing the "excellent" direct and active interventional woman role for the country's political and economic stability and peacekeeping.

"Women did not blink in the peace preservation, basically starting from each home, being the great peace mentors, a role acknowledged by the United States and other countries" - she stated.

The meeting organized by the national spontaneous movement under the motto "the role of woman and family in the economic system" highlighted woman as a symbol of beauty, strenght, tenderness, love and source of life.
