Luanda — The visiting Nigerian Foreign minister, Ojo Madoukwe, said Friday in Luanda that the talks between delegations of his country and Angola were very fruitful for the strengthening of bilateral co-operation.
Speaking at the end of official talks between Angola and Nigeria, Ojo Madoukwe said that the meeting was good. He said that the meeting reviewed the steps so far set and the results of the relations between the two countries he considered as historical.
According to him, the meeting also discussed the need for regular consultations between the governments of the two countries. Ojo Madoukwe highlighted the need for an exchange of scientific knowledge and cooperation on security matters.
He said Nigeria is awaiting an invitation from Angola for a bilateral commission meeting this year, for accords on issues for which the bases have already been established.
