Nairobi — Kenyans are one-track-minded about corruption. For us, the word has only one meaning, namely, deliberate involvement in bribery, racketeering, ballot theft and other activities the perpetrators of which are fully conscious that what they are doing is socially wrong and legally punishable.
And our idea of corruption tends to be confined to money-making. We tend to leave out such other forms as ballot theft and the practice by our parents of teaching their children to grow up with profound hatred and disrespect for other tribes, races, religions and sex.
