Tunisia: Road Safety Association to Recruit 300 University Graduates

Tunis — Within the framework of the presidential measures to recruit 10, 000 university graduates by 2011, and in line with the agreements signed on the implementation of the national program of voluntary civil service, a framework agreement was signed on Thursday in Gammarth between the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment and the Tunisian Association of road safety (ATPR).

The Tunisian Association of road safety will recruit some 300 young men and women in various specialties, such as sociology, media, information science, cultural and social activities, and technology.

On this occasion, Mr. Mohamed Agrebi, Minister of Vocational Training and Employment stressed the important role of the association in supporting the national program of voluntary civil service to meet the challenge of employment.

He explained that the objective is to insert 10, 000 university graduates into the job market, adding that the young people targeted will benefit from a monitoring and support program from the various employment offices in order to supervise and guide them in finding a permanent employment or in setting up an individual project.
