Hamelmalo — Students and teachers of the Hamelmalo College of Agriculture reiterated determination to fulfill what is expected of them for the success of the national resolute rebuff.
In a seminar in which more than 1,200 students and staff members of the College took part, the Dean of the College, Mr. Semere Amlesom, indicated that top priority is being given to the task of ensuring food security and reinforcing national development programs.
Noting that the youth are the driving force of the national resolute rebuff and development endeavors, he urged students of higher institutions of learning to demonstrate academic excellence, and thereby live up to the nation's expectations.
Mr. Semere further stated that strengthening and ensuring economic emancipation would give headache to enemy quarters, and on the contrary confirm Eritrea's correct policy of self-reliance. He also commended the College students for exerting unremitting efforts to this end.
Lauding Eritrea's modest role in promoting lasting peace in the region, the participants of the seminar reaffirmed commitment to rebuff enemy acts of conspiracy and back up the development drive.
