Angola: New Constitution Secures Speedier Resolution of Problems - Jurist

Luanda — The Angolan jurist, Walter Filipe, said Tuesday in Luanda that the new Constitution is beneficial because it enables a speedier resolution of social problems concerning Angolans.

The jurist was speaking during a workshop intended to lecture about 30 members of the ruling party's woman wing (OMA) in Luanda's Sambizanga district on the importance and benefits of the new Constitution.

According to him, the Constitution guarantees various rights to the Angolan people, such as better living and assistance in all areas. The workshop was part of the celebrations of the International Woman Day, March 8.

The meeting was also attended by the first secretary of the ruling MPLA party in Sambizanga, Eduardo Reis, the local secretary of OMA, Maria Adelaide and other officials.
