Angola: Paralympic Committee Boss at IPC Congress

Luanda — The president of the angolan paralympic committee, Leonel da Rocha Pinto, is bound to Vancouver (Canada) to attend the congress of the international paralympic committee(IPC), from February 12 to 21.

At the IPC congress, to take place during the winter paralympic games, Leonel Pinto, also president of the African sports committee for disableds (Ascod), will discuss mechanisms to improve wheelchair basketball, volleyball and goal ball in Angola and in Africa.

According to Leonel Pinto the congress will debate the introduction of new technologies for the basketball whellchairs and athletics prosthesis.
