Tunis — President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali received, on Wednesday, a written message from Mauritanian President Mohamed Ben Abdelaziz.
The message was handed over to him by Mrs. Alnaha Bint Meknes, Mauritania's Foreign Affairs and Co-operation Minister and special envoy of the Mauritanian President.
Following the meeting, Mr. Alnaha Bint Meknes said she had the honour to have been received by President Ben Ali, to whom she extended the regards and fraternal feelings of President Mohamed Ben Abdelaziz, as well as his wishes for progress, prosperity and stability to the Tunisian people.
She added that the meeting had provided the opportunity to review some aspects of Tunisian-Mauritanian co-operation and look at ways to develop and strengthen bilateral relations, in materialization of the commitment of both leaders, to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.
