Araeta — A solar energy-generated potable water supply project has been inaugurated in the Alati administrative area, Araeta sub-zone, at a cost of over 2 million Nakfa. The Administrator of the Southern Red Sea region, Mr. Osman Mohammed Omar, inaugurated the new facility.
The project which is part of endeavors to expand equitable social service in remote areas on priority basis involved the construction of a water distribution station and the installation of water pipelines.
