Araeta — A newly constructed elementary and junior school in the administrative area of Adailo, Araeta sub-zone, has been inaugurated.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the school that was constructed at an expenditure of 4.5 million Nakfa, the Administrator of the Southern Red Sea region, Mr. Osman Mohammed Omar, said that the project is part of the Government's efforts to ensuring equitable distribution of educational opportunities across the country, including remote areas.

The local inhabitants on their part expressed satisfaction with the construction of the modern school which is equipped with 10 classrooms, offices, store, water tanker with a capacity of holding over 60 cubic meters of water and toilet facilities.

The new elementary and junior school in the administrative area would provide educational service to the inhabitants of the Adailo administrative area and villages in the surroundings.
