Lagos — Wigan Athletic of England whiz-kid, Victor Moses is seeking the route back home to Nigeria, following the snub handed him by Queensland under-20 coach, Stuart Pearce.
The former Crystal Palace sensation had been angling for another call to England's youth team, having lined out for his adopted country at the under-17 level, but Moses will now have to bank on an invitation to the Super Eagles to keep his international career soaring.
Eagles' new technical adviser, Lars Lagerback will have to weigh up his options in the build-up to South Afrrica 2010 World Cup, following reports that Moses has been forced to do an about-turn and now wants to play for Nigeria.
Moses, considered one of the hottest youngsters in the English Premier League, following his move to Wigan from Palace in January, had earlier snubbed a number of requests to play for the country of his birth.
However, after he was again left out of England's under-21 side, Moses is apparently ready to turn his back on his adopted country and pledge his future to the Eagles.
Born in Nigeria, Victor Moses moved to England to join his extended family after his parents were killed during a riot in Kaduna.
