Angola: Kwanza Sul Governor Wants Strong Katyavala Bwila University

Benguela — The governor of the coastal Kwanza Sul Province, Serafim do Prado, said on Friday in the central Benguela Province that he wants that Katyavala Bwila University be strong and competitive compared to the other institutions.

The governor appealed on Friday to the academic community to provide a quality teaching and a technical and scientific training recognised at national and international levels. The government official said so during the opening ceremony of the 2010/2011 academic year of the Katyavala Bwila University.

Katyavala Bwila University is based in the neighbouring Benguela Province and it is one of the public universities that the Angolan government created in 2009, in the ambit of the expansion of higher education in the country.
