Eritrea: Two Water Reservoirs Under Construction in Hadish-Adi Administrative Area

Elabered — Two water reservoirs are under construction in Hadish-Adi administrative area, Elabered sub-zone, as part of efforts on the part of the Anseba regional Administrator, the general public and partners to ease potable water supply problem.

The Administrator of the area, Mr. Tekleberhan Kibrom, indicated that on top of easing potable water supply problem in the area the reservoirs would help to irrigate 65 hectares. He further stated that the local inhabitants are actively engaged in the undertaking so as to finalize the project before the onset of the rainy season.

Noting that the inhabitants have already become beneficiaries of education, health and potable water supply services, Mr. Tekleberhan highlighted the need for introducing transport and electricity services.

Hadish-Adi with a population of about 2,000 is one the administrative areas of Elabered sub-zone.
