Lubango — A photographic exhibition dubbed "Saving and Preserving the Planet" was opened in Lubango city, Huíla, an activity promoted by Banco Espírito Santo Angola (Besa), in partnership with the National Committee of Planet Earth (CNPT).

With over 80 pictures, which portray different aspects connected to degradation, as well as preserving the environment in the country, the event happens at Higher Institute for Science Education (ISCED) of Lubango and will extend until 28 March.

Speaking at the occasion, the exhibition owner, António da Costa, said that the initiative is fruit of co-operation that Besa has with Environment Ministry and aims at financing actions which preserve the national ecosystem, as well as calling attention to the country's problems.
