Mbanza Kongo — A member of National Assembly, Carlito Roberto, Monday in northern Zaire province defended the need to build a new airport for the provincial capital, Mbanza Kongo.
Carlito Roberto said this at the end of his five-day visit to the region, having also travelled to the districts of Kuimba and Nzeto. According to him, the current M'banza Kongo's airport, poses eminent danger to the lives of people.
However, he called the central government through the Angola National Company of Exploration of Airports and Air Navigation (ENANA) to find mechanisms that enable to move the airport to another place.
