Namibe — An exhibition featuring three Angolan plastic artists is open since last Saturday in Namibe City, in light of the re-launch of plastic arts in the southern region.
Most of the paintings on display were created through the use of mixed techniques, pastel and oil painting. According to one the organisers of the event, the painter Gustavo Nuno, the exhibition has as main theme "A Miragem", an inspiration relating to the sun, heat and other similar elements found in the desert.
The first day of the exhibition, set to last seven days, was attended by the governor of Namibe Province, Cândida Celeste, the vice-governors, government officials, public and civil society organisations.
