Asmara — The Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare branch in the Central region offered a year-long training course on life skill to 63 needy nationals, out of whom 4 are hearing-impaired person at the Akria Community Center.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Ms. Jim'a Mohammed-Nur, head of the community center, said that the training is aimed at brining about basic change in the living standard of the people and creating job opportunities. Besides, it plays significant role promoting socio-cultural progress, she added.
Indicating that the training involves tailoring, weaving and handcrafts as well as diet, Ms. Jim'a called on the graduates to make good use of the training provided.
Different handcraft works were displayed on the occasion.
