Angola: U.S. Embassy Issues Over 3,000 Visas

Luanda — At least 3,500 visas for the United States of America are issued annually by the US embassy in Angola, on Wednesday here said the deputy consul, Sara Marti, Angop has learnt.

The diplomat said so while speaking in a press conference for the presentation of the new application form of visa petition for non-immigrant (DS-160) that is to coming into force on April 05, meant to provide better security and efficiency.

Sara Marti said that these visas constitute 70 to 80 per cent of the visas required in the country. The source also said that most of the visas are designed for work and tourism.
