Tunisia: Participation in Paris "Customer Strategy" Fair Highlights Country's Attractiveness a Call Center Services Pole

Tunis — Tunisia is taking part from March 16 to 18, in the 14th edition of the "Customer Strategy" Fair (le salon de la relation client), at the Porte de Versailles, in Paris.

Supported by the Tunisian Export Promotion Center (CEPEX), Tunisia's participation aims at promoting Tunisia as an integrated site for ICT, call center services, and at attracting foreign investment in this sector.

Covering an area of 12, 000 square meters, the fair is bringing together 250 international exhibitors from telemarketing agencies, design and software publishers and distributors. 12,154 visitors attended the 2009, edition.

The Tunisian stand, which covers a surface of over 42 square meters, comprises institutions active in the sector, namely the Center for the Promotion of Exports "CEPEX", the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency, "Tunisia Telecom" and Tunisian Post as well as the El Ghazala Technological Park.

A delegation of Tunisian businessmen, representing 12 companies, visited the fair and benefited from the facilities offered by the Tunisian pavilion to enable them to hold business meetings and to promote their services.

In a related event, a workshop was held on Wednesday on the theme "Tunisia, an international pole for completely exported production and innovations in communication technologies"

The workshop focused on the benefits and advantages offered by Tunisia in the sectors of call centers, particularly in human resources, modern and sophisticated infrastructure, competitive prices and conditions of concentration and the appropriate legislation as well as Tunisia's commitment to become a pole of regional and international services.
