Angola: Building Factory Uses U.S. $5 Million for Investment

Luanda — At least USD five million will be invested this year by Fortaleza construction firm to increase its concrete and blocks production and meet market demand, a source with the firm said.

The administrator of the firm part of Gema Group, Simão Júnior, said the fund is designed for acquisition of equipments to treble production in Caxito from 200 tons per hour to 40,000 per month, as well as purchase of materials for Viana's concrete central.

The source said due to market demand and investments purpose, the firm started in 2009 the production of double blocks, large hewn stones, as well as paved kind stones.
