Angola: Huíla Province Needs More 300 Specialised Physicians

Lubango — The southern Huila province needs 300 physicians to work at the local health network spread throughout the region's 14 districts.

The call was launched by the health provincial director, Barnabé Lemos, who stated that the plan has already been presented to the local officials. The source mentioned the Central Hospital "António Agostinho Neto", Maternity "Irene Neto", Paediatric "Pioneiro Zeca", Psychiatry, as well as 187 other units, among district hospitals, posts and centres, that are in demand of physicians.

The needed staff are to provide service in specialities of neurosurgery, othorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, therapy, general medicine, orthopaedics, facial surgery and dermatology.
