Johannesburg — Mondi Shanduka entries include a number of Business Day linked candidates of the 41 shortlisted.

Brandan Reynolds for '2009... What a year' in Business Day, while Michael Bleby is nominated for his writing in the now defunct Business Day linked sister publication, The Weekender, with 'Reflections on an inner-city dilemma', along with Patrick Bulger's 'The late night news' column for the Weekender, Stephan Hofstatter with 'The real trouble with land reform' in The Weekender, and Sue Blaine - 'What's an idea worth?' also from The Weekender.
