Nigeria: Acting President Charges Religious Leaders on Peace, Stability

Abuja — The Acting President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has said religious leaders have a major role to play in ensuring the peace and stability of the country.

He made this remark during a presentation of the 2009 Haji report by the committee led by the Amirul Hajj, Senator Mahmud Kanti Bello on Monday March 22. The Acting President also asked for continued prayers for Nigeria, to ensure that we attain the nation of our dreams in the shortest possible time.
