Lagos — When the government failed to achieve the 6000 megawatts power generation capacity target and improved electricity supply by end 2009, it was largely attributed to poor gas supply.
But with last week's defence of the Group Managing Director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Mohammed Barkindo, we have been pushed to suspect that the Federal Government may be playing on the intelligence of suffering Nigerians, who seem to have been conditioned never to expect regular power supply.
