Nigeria: NFF Fights Release of White Paper

Abuja — With the exit of Engr. Sani Ndanusa as minister of sports and chairman of the National Sports Commission, The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has began intense lobbying to ensure that the White Paper on the missing $236,000 at the Glass House in Abuja is not implemented.

Key recommendation of the White Paper for those involved in the crime include the dismissal of some management staff of the NFF. It also recommended demotion and recall from secondment for others while the appointment of those on contract be terminated.
