Nigeria: Ogbemudia Debunks Factionalisation Claim

Benin — The Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State has described the claim of factionalisation in the party by eleven members of the party in the State House of Assembly as an afterthought and misleading.

In a statement in Benin weekend by the factional Publicity Secretary of the party, Prince Francis Omo-Osunde Iyasere, leadership of the faction called on the public to disregard the claim, as there was no iota of truth in their statement.
