Mdc-T has described President Robert Mugabe's claims that the three political parties in the unity agreement have not reached an agreement as a "gobsmacking political somersault" which will not be tolerated.
Mugabe told a Zanu PF central committee meeting on Friday that Zanu PF was still insisting that it would not compromise in the current talks over outstanding Global Political Agreement (GPA) issues until sanctions imposed by the West were removed.
His outbursts were at variance with comments by the mediator South African President Jacob Zuma that the parties had agreed to a package of measures during his intervention a fortnight ago.
The negotiators met on Thursday and Friday and are expected to round off the talks tomorrow. A report will be presented to Zuma before the Southern African Development Community considers a way forward.
MDC-T spokesperson, Nelson Chamisa said his party was shocked by Mugabe who said Reserve Bank governor Gideon Gono and Attorney General Johannes Tomana were not going anywhere.
Mugabe also said there was no deal on the appointment of provincial governors and the status of MDC-T deputy agriculture minister-designate, Roy Bennett.
"We are shocked," said Chamisa. "We don't know the source of this. It's a Zanu PF political somersault and we don't know the motivation for this. It's revisionism."
He said an agreement had been reached that Gono and Tomana vacate their offices.
There was also an agreement on the re-appointment of provincial governors among other issues, he said.
"We are gobsmacked by the pronouncements from Zanu PF about the lack of progress in the talks when we were of the understanding and view that we are about to conclude all issues," said Chamisa.
He added, "If they are not politicking, it means we will be going back to President Jacob Zuma (South African President) for arbitration."

Chimisa should have grown up by now and should learn to tell us the truth. He should tell us what was agreed and not what he and his party wants or thinks. What he and his party wants is to include non-GPA issues into the Agreement and present them to the world as if they fact when they are not - just making noise so as to keep cash donations flowing into MDC coffers. But is this the correct picture we all know? NADA!!
Dr Gono and A-G Tomana were appointed by the His Excellency the President, Head of State and Government of Zimbabwe and Commander-In-Chief of the Zimbabwe Armed Forces. This was not only done according to the constitution of the country but well before the consummation of the Unity Government. How then do you and who has the power to reverse an appointment made by the person legally empowered and authorized to do so by both the GPA and the constitution.
Should we revisit all the appointments that were made before MDC joined the government? Why only target Gono and Tomana instead of all those appointed before? Why not fire all civil servants and then start re-appointing or just employing or engaging MDC loyalists? The reason is that the civil service is THE GOVERNMENT. Governments come and go but the civil service remains as it is protected by the constitution. You do not just do what you want simply because you do not like the civil servant. Once a civil servant is appointed he cannot be removed at politician's whims. There is, therefore, a hidden hand behind this entire cry about Gono and Tomana.
Only an insane person would insist on revisiting the appointments. The two gentlemen, therefore, are not only in their positions according to the constitution but are also qualified for their jobs. No amount of twisting of facts will make Zanu-pf change its stance on what is a GPA issue or not.
MDC is now ashamed to abandon the war they started, particularly, against Dr Gono during the last election campaigns. Dr Gono was the man behind their failure to destroy our economy. He employed tactics that were beyond the comprehension of both the CIA and MI6. They totally failed to achieve what they had easily achieved in other part of the world - Zanu-pf is still in power and stronger for that matter and above all the country did not slide into civil strive.
Dr Gono made decisions that helped keep our farmers on the land, our industries operating at 20% capacity and our people managing to get bearer cheques to survive. The failure by the CIA and MI6 to cause the collapse of our economy, thus, cause civil strive in Zimbabwe is what brought about the hatred that we see even today emanating from Washington and London through their mouthpiece, the sellout MDC-T party.
This should be ignored by all right thinking people, but above all, it should be condemned with the contempt it deserves. If I may remind readers, it was Biti who, at an MDC-T campaign rally, said that Dr Gono was MDC enemy number one, adding; he (Gono) was "a terrorist, Al-Qaeda number one and should be put before a firing squad". This is exactly the same firing squad", the same assassination they are still seeking up to this day.
We all know that statements or words like "terrorists and/or Al-Qaeda" are used by the CIA and MI6 when they target someone for elimination. We also know that it is these two notoriously murderous organizations that decide who is terrorist and who is not. It is an east/west kind of division.
Anyone who advocates for war against western barbarism (even if the war is peaceful) is immediately labeled a terrorist and anyone who does the same in Russia or China is considered a freedom fighter and is given awards. That's the kind of situation we are in right now!
By the time the person who refuses to tow the imperialist line is finally assassinated all the gullible among us will have long been convinced that s/he was indeed a terrorist who should have long been killed. Dr Gono is in this category and is being hunted down everyday and the enemies of Zimbabwe want to get him either by assassination or by forcing his resignation or replacement - in short they want him dead or alive.
We are fully aware of these machinations and schemes that are being formulated from Washington and London. Thus, when MDC-T says Dr Gono should go we know that it is not them saying those words or statements, they are merely regurgitating what their masters tell them.
The idea is to try and condition the weak-minded and gullible among us that Gono is "enemy number one who should be put before a firing squad". But they should know that Dr Gono and A-G Tomana are fully supported by all patriotic Zimbabweans and we will defend them to the last men and with our blood.
The only outstanding issues remaining right now are the illegal, diabolic, racist, satanic and cruel sanctions that were imposed on the people of Zimbabwe, at the instigation of Tsvangirai and his MDC party, by racist white imperialists; the MDC/western imperialist established pirate radios stations churning out hate speeches and causing polarization in our country; and the parallel government structure being run by Tsvangirai and his sellout party.
As long as the three issues are not tackled there won't be any movement on the part of Zanu-pf. FULL STOP!!! THE BALL IS IN MDC's COURT!!!
HaHa! An enormous load of rambling waffle is produced to confuse the issue of many years: Mr. Mugabe reaches an agreement with e.g. Mr. Zuma or Mr. Tsvangirai and as soon as he has to honor it, problems always arise. Mr. Tsvangirai happens to get himself coincidentally beaten up by ZanuPF thugs for example, and is out for a long time, or any other crime or excuse no matter how obviously silly will be used to frustrate progress. Critics are branded as racists. Foreign or domestic critical news media are blocked, shut down or otherwise cowed into submission. Who do you think you're kidding? Mr. Mugabe for the appaling crimes and human rights abuses commited at his instigation, fully deserves a tiny cell near those of Charles Taylor, Radovan Karadzic, and, hopefully very soon, Ali Al Bashir, Radko Mladic, Joseph Kony and another slew of the most dangerous international criminals.
Just more proof that zanupf and robber mugabe have absolutely NO intention of being held to the agreement. It is clear to all and sundry that Robber mugabe cannot be trusted, and so zanupf cannot be trusted. Keep up sanctions and increase them. Time for Zuma to get tough but he's probably more interested in Grace than Robber Mugabe. Africa the laughing stock of the world. time for other African leaders to get tough too.But then dont hold your breath.
This summersaulting by Mugabe is typical of a pattern of many years and doesn't surprise me a bit. Once day a deal is struck, the next day conditions are said to have changed, Zanu thugs create a different situation on the ground, or they make up anything in order to frustrate progress. It is about time for the International Criminal Court in The Hague to indict Mugabe.
Robert Gabriel Mugabe is not, at any point in time, ready to abdicate power. His intension is to remainthe state's president sine dine. The issue of Tomana and Gono are two important instrument together with the Roy Bennet phantom accusation of attempted coup d'etat in the state. The problem of the provincial governors is also there for him to exploit to the fullest. His party unpopularity as emanated from 2000 referendum and latter the electoral defeat in the same year and 2008 are enough for him to know that his fish is out of water. The rural farm workers that serve as his water have been educated on the need to change the government. The farm grap politics is no more relevant. In the face of sovereign equality of every state and AU Constitutive Act which allow intervention of other states in a state internal affairs should be adorpted to show him his way out.
