Angola: Police General Commander Wants Stricter Border Control

Ondjiva — The general commander of the National Police, Ambrósio de Lemos, Wednesday in Ondjiva, southern Cunene province, urged police officers to be strict and efficient to discourage jumping of Angola/Namibia border.

Speaking to Angop, at the end of a two-day visit to the province, the police commander said that the police should act more to frustrate manoeuvres of citizens, whether nationals or foreigners, which opt for illegal migration, tax evasion and other infringements.
