Kenya: MPs Fault CDF Audit Report

Nairobi — Three MPs Wednesday defended the use of Constituency Development Funds in their constituencies and faulted an audit report released a day earlier.

The three PNU MPs; Dickson Wathika (Makadara), Ferdinand Waititu (Embakasi) and Simon Mbugua (Kamukunji) said the report by the National Taxpayers Association was malicious and was part of a political witch-hunt against them. They said the audit wrongly linked them to the misuse and wastage of funds over two years.
