Dar Es Salaam — THE much awaited East African Submarine Cable System (EASSy) finally landed today morning at 11.00 am at Msasani Peninsula shoreline with its expected new lower frequency prices enabling companies to buy larger volumes of bandwidth.
The ship laying the 5000km long undersea fibre optic cable for The East Africa Submarine Cable System arrived at the Msasani Peninsula on Tuesday night and the exercise to lay the cable started early yesterday morning.
