Nigeria: LG Honours 16 Indigenes

Bauchi — At a ceremony held at Katangan Warji headquarters of the council, the 16 people were presented their awards by the Protem Chairman, Adamu Hashimu who said that their choice was informed by the decision of the people of the area who have benefitted from the positive contributions of the awardees.

The Protem Chairman who was assisted by the Special Adviser to Bauchi State Governor on Education and Societal Re-orientation, Salisu Shehu explained that the awardees have distinguished themselves in various fields of government administration including public health, leadership by example as well as societal reorientation.
