Angola: President Calls for Immediate Measures to Mitigate Damages From Rains

Luanda — The Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, this Monday gave precise instructions to conduct an emergency and for taking immediate measures to reverse the situation caused by the heavy rains that have been falling in Luanda.

According to a statement from the Services of Assistance to the President of the Republic, the statesman, worried with the dramatic aftermath of the heavy rains falling in the capital, which have claimed human lives and caused material damages, met with the key players in the process of sewerage of Luanda.
