Kampala — The Congolese business community from Mahagi territory has hailed Presidents Yoweri Museveni and Joseph Kabila of the Democratic Republic of Congo for restoring peace in the region.

They also commended the two nations for re-establishing diplomatic ties between them by opening embassies in their capital cities.

The community chairman, Agenonga Bedijo, said the peace was helping cross-border trade to flourish. Bedijo was speaking at a function of business people from Nebbi and their Congolese counterparts recently.
