Nigeria: Rivers Tackles Education Hiccups

Port Harcourt — Rivers State government has said its intervention in the education sector was a demonstration of its resolve to re-orientate misguided youths and secure the future of children in the state.

The state's Deputy Governor, Tele Ikuru, who disclosed this in Port Harcourt yesterday, said the hiccups in the education sector had retarded Nigeria's growth, explaining that the new primary schools being built across the state were fitted with state-of-the-art internet facilities.
