South Africa: Food and Beverages Income Up by 1.4 Percent

Johannesburg — STATISTICS South Africa (StatsSA) released data today that indicated that the total income generated by the food and beverages industry for February 2010 increased by 1,4% year on year.

The increase was due to a major jump in income from bar sales (13,1%) and caterers (17,2%).
