Angola: President Dos Santos Promulgates Law on Biofuels

Luanda — Angolan president, José Eduardo dos Santos, promulgated today the law on biofuels, approved by the National Assembly (Parliament) on March 22.

The new law establishes the general bases to boost cultivation of sugar cane and other plants for biofuel production, stating that the government should set, by decree, the specifications and type of bio-fuel to be produced within the Angolan territory, considering the specifications and types of most used bio-fuels in the international market.
