Eritrea: Rich Artifacts in Sewurdim Mountain Need to Be Preserved, Say Local Inhabitants

Elabered — The inhabitants of Wasdemba administrative area, Elabered sub-zone, noted the need for properly preserving historical artifacts of the Sewurdim Mountain so that such heritage may be bequeathed to future generations.

They explained that Sewurdim is one of the major mountains in Anseba region and that it is endowed with various stones, caves and water springs. The local inhabitants further stated that one can witness a spectacular landscape upon climbing the mountain. The existing big historical forests and year-long natural flow of ground water, as well as wildlife resource also make the area quite unique and breathtaking scenery, they elaborated.
