The Federal Government has called on the United States of America to give Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who is facing terror charges in the U.S., a fair trial. Minister of Foreign Affairs Odein Ajugomobia said this while speaking to newsmen at the National Assembly yesterday.
He said the foreign affairs ministry has appealed to US government to treat Farouk according to the rule of law. twenty-three-year-old Farouk allegedly tried to blow up a US passenger plane heading for Detroit on Dec. 25 last year.
