South Africa: Selebi 'Not in Gauteng' on Day he Allegedly Took Cash From Agliotti

Johannesburg — THE defence in the corruption trial of former police commissioner Jackie Selebi closed its case with testimony that Selebi flew to Upington on December 14 2004 and could not have collected cash from his friend Glenn Agliotti because he was not in Gauteng.

The evidence, which was read into the record because the pilot was not available, contradicts Agliotti's statement that he withdrew R200 000 cash and Selebi fetched it at his Midrand offices on th at day.
