Rwanda: Vocational Training, Creates Opportunities for a Better Life

Kigali — The Government has revealed plans to set up a first rate vocational centre on Iwawa island in Rutsiro district. This initiative will go a long way in offering those enrolled great employment opportunities.

And, with the government involvement, the vocational training costs will be catered for, therefore, little or no cost to the learners. According to the Ministry of Youth, there are 11 different courses, each lasting one year, including a three months industrial training. Also, 80 per cent of the curriculum is practical work.
