Uganda: Muliika Elected to Popularise Federo

Kampala — Former Buganda Katikkiro Dan Muliika has been elected the leader of Ggwanga Mujje International, an organisation agitating for a federo form of governance in Uganda. His primary mission is to educate Ugandans about federalism and political freedoms. Mr Muliika, according to a press release by the coordinator of Ggwanga Mujje, Dr Fulgence Lugemwa, was elected during a meeting in Massachusetts USA.

Delegates at the conference mainly comprised Ugandans from New York, New Jersey, Illinois and California. "Human rights are not for negotiation; they inherently belong to the people. The right to self-determination is recognised by international law," Mr Mulika said last week in his acceptance speech.
