Nigeria: Imoke - Driver Was Under Alcohol Influence - Aide

Saturday — Months after the fatal accident that left the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke, with fractured hand and ribs, it has been revealed that the driver of the ill-fated vehicle was high on alcohol. This was revealed by the Special Adviser, Legal, to the Governor, Attah Ochinke.

According to the governor's aide, after the accident which occurred on top of Obudu Ranch Hill, it was discovered through examination that the driver was under the influence of alcohol hence he lost control of the vehicle on top of the hill.
