Nigeria: Implement Uwais Report for Yar'Adua -CPC

Maiduguri — Implementing recommendations of the Justice Mohammed Lawal Uwais-led Electoral Reform and respecting the rule of law will serve as a befitting tribute and mark of respect to late President Umaru Musa Yar'adua, the Borno State chapter of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) has said.

In a statement signed by its Secretary, Ibrahim Saidu Burashika at the weekend in Maiduguri, the CPC said the rare courage displayed by the late president when he openly declared as flawed, electoral process which brought him into power and his swift response to institute electoral reforms.
