Cameroon: Human Rights Actors Trained on National Action Plan

Focal points from ministries, State institutions and civil society representatives were yesterday lectured on their roles in executing the plan.

Cameroon's National Commission on Human Rights and Freedoms has embarked on a series of workshops to enable actors master the national plan of action, understand their roles and consequently adequately contribute in human rights promotion and protection. Human rights focal points in government ministries and State institutions, as well as representatives of civil society organisations were yesterday, May 11 in Yaounde presented the national plan of action for the promotion and protection of human rights in Cameroon.
