Angola: Unitel Establishes Partnership With Vodacom

Luanda — The Angolan mobile phone company Unitel established, two days ago, a partnership agreement with the South African firm Vodacom which is to provide roaming services data.

According to a note delivered Tuesday to ANGOP, the accord allows Unitel customers who travel to South Africa to check e-mail and have access to the Internet through mobile phone and computer in that country.

The note adds that the accord also enables Vodacom customers to have access to data roaming during their stay in Angola.

However, the accord happens in line with the centre providing continuous service to Unitel customers who will visit South Africa for 2010 World Cup.
