Nigeria: 2011 - Army Will Review Operations, Says Dambazau

Bauchi — The Chief of Army Staff , Lt. General Abdulrahaman Dambazau, has said the challenge of national security and global security requires continuous training and re-training of personnel to meet the contemporary national and international issues while placing high premium on protecting the nation's fragile and growing democracy.

Dambazau who made this known at the opening of combat arms training week in Bauchi yesterday said in anticipation of the Nigerian Army's future commitment, especially in the 2011 election, there will be a review of its operations particularly in the area of internal security operation.
