Uganda: Education Council Issues Libraries Warning

Kampala — The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has warned the management of universities in Uganda over the poor standards of library services.

Speaking as the chief guest the World Library Day celebrations at Makerere University on Friday, Prof. A.B Kasozi, the NCHE chairman, said a recent report by the Visitation Committee to public universities showed that their libraries were not complying with NCHE standards.
